Here are some pictures of just a few of the wardrobe pieces I made for the filming of Robert Sabuda‘s ” pilot: The Americans – Home Sweet Home”. We are all very hopeful that this production will be the begin of a wonderful new T.V. series for Robert. He has wonderful vision and a good feel for historical setting…
It was incredibly fun doing the wardrobe work for this little production. Oddly enough, the mourning dress that demand the most of my time and attention did not get into my photos!! I was too busy dressing and redressing everyone. I will get a shot of our ”Fanny” – Mrs. Crawford (portaited in the pilot by Charlotte Haug) in that black mourning dress posted here a.s.a.p.
The Crawford House in Newburgh was just lovely and Mr. Sabuda’s script is well thought out and well written.
