Slipcovers and Curtains – Custom Work of the Needle Arts Guild of Historic Hudson Valley

Many projects are in the works here as holiday shopping always boosts my on-line orders.  Pottery Barn, Lee Industries and other fine slipcovered furniture is my specialty, but recently I have been getting lots of orders for drapes and valences!  I just receive the first bolt of fabric that will begin a large project I am undertaking to “stage” a colonial home – Flintlock Farm in Still River Massacusetts.  This historical home is a real gem and in its day it was considered one of the finest homes in the colonies.  I am excited to be working with the owner Phil Wilson.  Pictures will follow shortly.

  1. If you ever looking for an entry level seamstress who is passionately interested in historic textiles and the construction of them, I’d be very interested! Your work and stories always interest me! lb_schiller@yahoo.com. I live in the Hudson Valley, sewed all my life and also photograph the area! Best of luck to your new projects! Linda
