Historical Apparel Circa 1840s – for T.V. pilot

I am so thrilled to be posting that I have been contacted by an author/production company looking for re-enactors to be in their short production based on historical homes and mansions.  The pilot for a hopeful T.V. show will be shot sometime this summer in the Hudson Valley and your humble costume maker  – me – will be outfitting about 10 individuals to be the people milling around during the filming.  The shooting will be done over a two day period.  I am very hopeful that this will help get my historical apparel some notice and some orders for more costumes…or it might just be a fun day of re- enacting.  I will post all the lovely dresses as I get them made over the next few weeks and hopefully post some pictures of the actors/actresses wearing them….
