Slipcovers and fresh Upholstery – “Living” in your Living Space: call 845 549-3323

My upholstery and slipcover work is growing beyond just Pottery Barn slip covers and local work so I want to dedicate the blog site to display and description of more home decor items.  So, in the next few weeks and months I will be putting a lot more visual content here to show case my work…

I am now also doing slip coverwork for other famous brand name furniture like Lee Industries.  These slipcovered chairs and sofas are very popular just now.  They provide a cozy and casual look and feel.  It’s no wonder that more and more people seem to be embrassing this look.  The practical and economical aspect of updating a room with slipcovers and coordinating curtains/pillows is surely a factor, but I think people are also spending more and more time at home as we increasingly work and shop from home and we want to feel comfortable in our space.

This blog site has really become the source of 90% of my slipcover and home decor sales and services so I think the time has come to separate the Historical Apparel/Costume work.  So I would like to announce that the Needle Arts Guild of Historic Hudson Valley is adding a new Web Site: http:// to show case and sell reproduction historical apparel.

A big thank you to all the customers that this blog has generated for my business and please, please feel free to send comments and pictures and ask questions.  I will also experimenting with video content.  Come back often to see what I’m up to.
